ATLANTA. GA — Apparently, hiding from the FBI when you have green-and-yellow hair and tattoos on your face just isn’t worth the effort.
Cedric Deon Cauley, 22, of Atlanta, turned himself in to a member of the FBI-led Atlanta Metro Major Offenders Task Force on Friday morning. Cauley is accused of being the gunman in an armed robbery last month near Atlanta Technical College.
Earlier this week, the FBI released a photo of Cauley, sporting multi-colored hair and multiple tattoos on his forehead, neck and throat. On Jan. 16, at about 9:45 a.m., Cauley robbed a 20-year-old female student of the college after she left campus and stopped at a corner store at 1407 Metropolitan Pkwy. in Atlanta, according to police.
They say that as she was walking into the store, she was approached by Cauley, who was holding a black handgun. The robber took the student’s phone and book bag and ran away. Cauley is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
He is being held at Fulton County Jail.
